FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What's actually in the box?
Five weeknight dinners for a family of 4. Each meal includes all ingredients, already prepped: proteins marinated, vegetables cut, sauces made. You get a one-page finish card (not a recipe — you're not learning to cook, you're finishing a chef's prep work). Total time per meal: 11–16 minutes.
How is this different from HelloFresh?
HelloFresh sends you a pile of ingredients and a recipe. You do the prep — chopping, marinating, measuring, making sauces. Their "30-minute meals" typically take 45–60 minutes. Hearth sends you the finished prep work. You heat, sear, and plate. That's it.
What does "fully prepped" mean?
It means we do the mise en place — the professional kitchen term for everything that happens before cooking begins. Proteins marinated (overnight, in some cases). Vegetables cut and portioned. Stocks reduced. Sauces made. Doughs rested. You do the final 15 minutes: the cooking, the plating, the eating.
How does delivery work?
Refrigerated boxes ship via our regional cold-chain partner and arrive by Monday. Everything stays fresh through Friday. You cook meals in any order.
Can I skip or pause?
Yes, both. You can skip any individual week or pause your subscription — no penalty, no phone call required. We'd rather you pause than cancel; and we'd rather you cancel than feel trapped. The table is yours.
What does it cost?
$149/week for 5 dinners, 4 servings each. That's $7.45 per serving — less than a takeout entrée, and a better meal. No separate delivery fee.
Is there a commitment?
No. Weekly subscription, cancel anytime. We don't believe in lock-ins for food your family eats every week.
