Hearth started with one observation: the hardest part of cooking dinner isn't cooking — it's everything that happens before the pan hits the stove.
The marinating. The mise en place. The hour of prep that turns a 15-minute recipe into a 60-minute ordeal. Generic meal kits solved the grocery run. They didn't solve dinner.
We built Hearth around a simple idea: what if a professional chef did the 80% before it shipped? Proteins marinated overnight. Vegetables cut and portioned. Sauces made from scratch. Everything your family's dinner needs, except the 15 minutes you finish it.
How it works
Every week, our chef designs 5 weeknight dinners for a family of 4. Each meal is fully prepped — not just portioned — and packed in a refrigerated box that arrives before Monday.
You finish each dinner in under 15 minutes. You eat at the table. You're present for the conversation, not the cleanup.

We currently deliver within 50 miles of our commissary kitchen. We're expanding to new routes based on subscriber density — join the beta waitlist and we'll notify you when your ZIP code opens.
Our kitchen
Every Hearth box comes from a single commissary kitchen staffed by professional prep cooks under a retained executive chef. We don't outsource prep to a fulfillment center. The mise en place is ours, and so is the accountability.
